I initially started seeing Jaquelyn for help with insomnia and anxiety. She helped me uncover that my issues were actually due to an imbalanced hormone cycle that I had no idea was even related to my panic attacks and insomnia.

She helped me fix my period and crazy hormone swings, and over the course of a couple of months, my period and hormones completely regulated, and I was able to sleep through the night. Once I was sleeping better, my body was able to cope with stress in a much better way without sending me into a panic over every little thing. 

I had tried acupuncture before to treat chronic migraines, and it helped, but I never got rid of the migraines completely. A co-worker recommended Jaquelyn, who has an integrative approach with acupuncture, Chinese herbs, and functional medicine testing. I was skeptical, but working with her helped me figure out how the foods I was eating and the stress I was dealing with were triggering my migraines. With a combination of acupuncture, diet and lifestyle "homework" she assigned me, I was able to cut down migraines from 3-4 times per week to 1-2 times per month!

A friend recommended Jaquelyn after I did some hormone testing with my doctor and everything came back normal, but I was getting my period every 18-20 days, with super heavy bleeding and cramping and then spotting in between. I felt like I had my period constantly and knew something was off.  She asked me to work with her for 3 cycles to get things back on track. She had me drinking a custom herbal tincture 3 times a day that changed with my cycle, and I had less cramping within a week of taking the herbs. I felt like things finally started to get back to normal, and I was so excited to see on my period tracker that I had my first 27-day cycle! I feel like I got my life back.

I was pregnant and dealing with horrible acne on my chest and back. I had been taking antibiotics to clear up my skin, but my doctor said I should stop the medication while I was pregnant. I wasn't sure if there was anything Chinese Medicine could offer, but I was shocked at how wrong I was. Jaquelyn did some food sensitivity testing and stool testing, and helped me see that my skin issues were totally coming from problems with my gut. I had no idea there were issues with my gut, because I feel like I eat really healthy foods as a vegetarian. Once I eliminated certain foods, and followed a gut healing protocol post-baby, my skin cleared up without even needing to use topical acne creams anymore.
